Boulder, CO – The Regional Transportation District (RTD) announced that its seasonal bus service to Eldora Mountain Resort will resume on Thursday, coinciding with the ski area’s opening day. Skiers and snowboarders can hop on the NB route at RTD’s downtown Boulder station at 1800 14th Street and enjoy a convenient ride to the slopes.
The NB route will drop passengers off just steps away from the Alpenglow ski lift, providing easy access to the mountain. However, RTD advises riders to check the schedule carefully, as not all trips on the NB route go all the way to Eldora. Some trips end at Nederland High School, which is about 3 miles from the resort.
“We’re excited to provide this convenient and affordable transportation option for skiers and snowboarders heading to Eldora,” said an RTD spokesperson. “We encourage everyone to plan their trips in advance, especially on weekends, holidays, and heavy snow days, as schedules may vary.”
To make trip planning easier, RTD encourages riders to use its Trip Planner and Next Ride web apps. These tools provide real-time bus locations and help riders plan their journeys effectively.
As a reminder, customers ages 19 and younger can ride all RTD services for free under the Zero Fare for Youth Program.
